Founded and registered in 2019, NEFRISE Agro International is dedicated to revolutionizing agriculture through innovation, sustainability, and value chain development. Our mission is to enhance food security, empower smallholder farmers, and drive economic growth in the agricultural sector.

Our Growth Journey

Phase One (2019 – 2023)

We focused on crop cultivation, including cereals, to build a strong agricultural foundation and support food production.

Phase Two (2024 – Present)

Building on our success, we have expanded into:
Animal Feed Production – Using locally sourced ingredients to support livestock and aquaculture.
Sustainable Fish Farming & Hatchery Services – Strengthening the local fish supply with eco-friendly aquaculture.
Agricultural Mechanization & Equipment Leasing – Enhancing farm productivity with modern machinery.

DASSY Green Farms (DGF) – Our Implementing Partner

DGF operates on a 1,000-hectare concessional farmland in Côte d'Ivoire and manages fish farming hubs in Dimbokro, N’zi, and other key locations. Together, we are committed to:

NEZERWA François d’Assise

NEZERWA François d’Assise

Founder

He is a seasoned entrepreneur, consultant, and project manager with extensive expertise in renewable energy, rural electrification, hydropower, solar energy, methane gas extraction, and turnkey technical projects. He holds a Master’s degree in Renewable Energy and Electrical Power Engineering from the International Institute of Water and Environment Engineering (2IE), Burkina Faso (2011) and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Chemistry from the National University of Rwanda (2007).

With a diverse technical and professional footprint spanning Rwanda, Burkina Faso, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Germany, France, Mauritius, the Netherlands, Canada, and the USA, he has played a pivotal role in energy infrastructure development and rural electrification initiatives. As the Founder and CEO of CEEP Hydro Ltd, DASSY Enterprise Ltd, as well as of DASSY Engineering Solutions Ltd, he has successfully led numerous donor-funded projects supported by the World Bank, GIZ, UK Aid, EEP Africa, USADF, and other international organizations and contracted on bigger infrastructure projects(Bugesera International Airport, SPLK k-56 Methane Gas plant). His work encompasses feasibility studies, project design, and the implementation of energy and agro-processing plants, solar PV systems, and off-grid electrification solutions.

His companies specialize in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC), mechanical contracting, and turnkey projects in power utilities, vocational training equipment, water supply, medical equipment, hydropower plants, biogas, and industrial solutions. With operations across more than 18 African countries and Haiti, he has been instrumental in developing solar and hydropower infrastructure and has made significant contributions to methane gas extraction projects at Lake Kivu. His professional collaborations extend across multinational corporations, European companies, government entities, NGOs, and the Catholic Church.

Mr. Nezerwa has actively participated in international conferences, consultancies, study tours, and specialized training programs on renewable energy, public-private partnerships, energy sector regulations, project management, food and agro-processing, and climate change mitigation across Africa, Europe, and North America. His technical expertise includes energy project design (HOMER, RETScreen, PVSyst), engineering software (AutoCAD), data analysis (SPSS), and programming (C++).

He is a member of the Netherlands-Africa Business Council and the Rwanda Private Sector Federation, EPD and is fluent in English, French, Kinyarwanda, and Swahili.
